Now I'm generally always excited for London Fashion Week as its generally a whole weekend devoted to British Fashion and there are various events going on throughout the weekend for it. However, I generally look to the runway collections and like to see what the designers this year have designed. I'm generally less impressed with many of the pieces in most collections. From what used to be a high profiled event, I feel like the excitement and quality in the collections shown has generally gone pretty down hill over the years for London Fashion Week.
Some pieces that did stand out were two pieces by FELDER FELDER, a dress by Manuel Facchini (who I personally have never heard of before and was generally quite impressed) and another few pieces by Julien Macdonald.
I think for better fashion, always look to Milan Fashion Week which generally holds the more familiar and market leading brands.
